ExpressKeys and Touch Strips
New ExpressKeys and Touch Strips provide substantial productivity enhancements that greatly speed up workflow in a wide variety of graphics intensive applications. The integrated set of customizable ExpressKeys (default to keyboard modifiers Ctrl & Alt for Windows / Command & Option for Macintosh, plus Shift and Space) are "chordable" - multiple keys can be held down simultaneously for even greater efficiency; and can be easily customized in the Wacom tablet Control Panel. In addition, the new finger-sensitive Touch Strips allow users to zoom, scroll, or perform custom keystroke actions like changing brush size in Adobe Photoshop. All this can now be done without having to move to the keyboard, by the touch of a finger right there on the working surface.

Patented Pen Technology
The Pen is cordless and battery-free for reliable and consistent operation. Both the pen tip  and eraser feature 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity for precise image editing, accurate selections, and the finely controlled application of effects and filters.
The pen includes a DuoSwitch that is completely programmable through the Wacom tablet control panel. You can set independent actions to each end such as double-click, right-click or any shortcut keys you choose. The DuoSwitch is also removable, and an optional Rubber grip is available without the DuoSwitch hole.

Tool ID
When you use multiple pens and/or airbrush, Cintiq 21UX will recognize each device's preconfigured settings, saving time in productive environments.

Pressure Sensitivity
The 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity offers complete control of delicate brushwork. Not only for drawing & painting, but for masking, blending, retouching and selecting.

Pen Tilt Sensitivity
Pen Tilt Sensitivity adds extra dimension to your creative control.
± 60 degrees of tilt sensitivity can be utilized to control the direction of airbrushes, calligraphy tools and a wide variety of additional brush dynamics.

Increased Resolution, Linear Pressure Response
The tablet resolution has been increased to 5080 lpi, a reporting rate of 133 pps (points per second) via a 12 Mbps USB connection delivering enhanced Mapping Accuracy, DuoSwitches status, linear pressure response and more. Customize Your Drawing Experience
Cintiq 21UX includes 3 different pen nibs - "Standard pen nibs (3 pcs)", a "Stroke nib" that includes a dual-spring action for extended tip travel and a more brush-like response, and a "Felt nib" that is formulated to increase the friction between the pen tip and the tablet surface, resulting in more of a "pencil on paper" feel. Now you can even customize the way your drawing style "feels" on your Cintiq 21UX.

Customize Tablet Driver
Wacom's exclusive tablet control panel allows customization of all the aspects of the Cintiq 21UX pen and tablet features.

The control panel has been totally redesigned and streamlined to optimize the way Wacom customers typically work. It provides application and tool-specific settings, from the pressure sensitivity of the tip and eraser to the programming of the Touch Strips, ExpressKeys and DuoSwitch buttons.
